BitchBoys: Kranjska Gruda Vel'Ka Mooda (translation: Spirit of the Mountains and Big Cohones)
Label:
BitchBoys Special Release for April 1, 2004 Concert
Thanks for the demo, Robi, and congratulations (I think) for having the cohones to break new ground in the surf genre.
Of course, I could see this coming. As soon as I heard that surfed-up Slovene folk-song-Polka-dance-thing on Behind the Hound Dog Walls, I thought. "This is the start of something...and it ain't necessarily good."
But since my mother taught me "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" I'll pay the Bitches the best compliment I can:
YOUR VOCALS SOUND BETTER THAN YOKO ONO!!! (but, then so do breaking glass, mating cats, and nails on a chalkboard...)
And on a technical note, I'd avoid putting samples of this CD on your website. Even as wild and free as the internet is, I'm pretty sure these sounds will violate the cruelty to animals laws in most of the industrialized world. And maybe even a treaty or two, too.
Good luck selling this one and long live Slovakia's best surf band!!
