BitchBoys   ...in Heat

Bitch Boys - In Heat - this is a great CD - 20 tunes clocking in at just under 60 minutes - great full sound & an excellent rhythm guitar (playing authentic ticky-ticky reverb one minute - then playing full chords or whatever the song calls for). When the jacket said that the bass player & drummer were punk rockers, I had visions of a good guitar sound going to hell because of a thud-merchant playing too heavy, or playing crappy, untuned drums, but such was not the case - drums are good - surf beat is there & the guitars are out front and full - and those are my requirements for a good surf recording.

Listening to this reminds be of The Bambi Molesters and Huevos Rancheros at the same time...go figure. Anyway, I would recommend this before it disappears like too many European releases before it (Bambi Molesters - Dumb Loud Hollow Twang, and The Treble Spankers come to mind) - I hate when good music goes away before I have a chance to get it.
