Well finakly the new Bitch Boys album is here. We waited a very, very long time for it, but now the waiting is over, now it's time for listening … And by the way - thank you Spanish custody!

Dado (guitar), Markan (drums), Mirni (guitar) and Murki (bas guitar), already released two albums this year - their April fools EP Kranjska gruda, vel'ka mooda, and later this year Behind the Hound dog walls, that was released for US market only. And here is the new, official release - Ride the first wave.

In the beginning two things are important - it is the collection of thirty (!) songs and all of them are covers. But - they are covers of less known and rarely heard songs of even rarely heard performers. Many of experts claim that the Bitch Boys versions of these songs are a lot better than the originals. Also and because of the fact, that the boys haven't blindly followed the original versions, but they put some of their spirit and energy into the songs.

In my past reviews I used to mention Bitch Boys songs one by one, but this time there are thirty of them and even though I listened and evaluated them carefully, I won't share my exact thoughts with you. The reason is very simple - among these thirty songs, I haven't found even one dull or merely average song, as I never do.

Their music and songs are never predictable, monotone or boring … exquisite crossing of both guitars, unstoppable rhythm and a bunch of, even for real surfers, neck wracking rythmic passages and many solo instrumental passages and of course - endless energy.

Surf - definitely! Everything is very similar to surfing on high and lethal waves, that won't let go and if you're ready to take the risk, you will relax and enjoy the best ride of your life. Of course - if you dare? In that case - enjoy!
